In “Don’t Make Any Assumptions,” I share my learning about conflict resolution in the making of “My So-Called Enemy” and facilitate an identity workshop. I have done this talk and workshop at 40+ institutions, and as many as 5 times on a single campus visit for students, faculty, clergy and administrators. It is not necessary to have seen the film to participate and the outcomes are always transformative. For high schools, colleges and universities, religious institutions, after-school programs and parents of high school students. (60-90 minutes.)
“Everyone has a Story” is connected to my journey in making the “The Children of Chabannes” and “My So-Called Enemy” and includes an inter-faith workshop. For high schools, colleges and universities, religious institutions and youth groups. It is not necessary to have seen the films to participate. (60-90 minutes)
In the “You in Story” Workshops, participants learn the art and craft of personal storytelling in the medium of video. Includes 4 intensive 2-hour workshops on everything from: finding your story, script writing, concept development and on-camera presentation techniques to best practices around storytelling, branding, filming and editing. A personalized “mini-film school” designed for people at all levels of experience, “You In Story” can be done one-on-one, in small group or classroom settings, in person or on Skype. For individuals looking to create compelling video content to launch personal ventures, for company websites, or to enhance school or job applications.
